All <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> master systems will be converted to the new reference material as soon as these tests are completed.<\/strong><\/p><p>The certification of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www-s.nist.gov\/srmors\/certificates\/2806d.pdf\">SRM 2806d<\/a>\u00a0 has been much more complex and took longer than anticipated. The previous refence material <a href=\"https:\/\/www-s.nist.gov\/srmors\/certificates\/archives\/2806b.pdf\">SRM 2806b<\/a>\u00a0 did deviate from its predecessor SRM 2806a. The responsible standardization committee ISO TC131\/SC6 had to prepare an ad-hoc revision of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/obp\/ui\/#iso:std:iso:11171:ed-4:v1:en\">ISO11171<\/a> that could accommodate the deviation with the introduction of the interim dimension \u00b5m(b). The new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/obp\/ui\/#iso:std:iso:11171:ed-4:v1:en\">ISO11171:2020<\/a> together with the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www-s.nist.gov\/srmors\/certificates\/2806d.pdf\">SRM 2806d<\/a> makes this step obsolete. The committee objective was to optimize and simplify the qualification process. For this reason, the certification is based on an international inter laboratory study with 18 systems. 12 out of the 18 systems were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> particle counters. The new certification is based on this study so that we expect an optimized conformity between old and new SRM material. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> is proud to support the development of the new SRM as well as the revision of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iso.org\/obp\/ui\/#iso:std:iso:11171:ed-4:v1:en\">ISO11171<\/a>.
