Due to the continuing demand of our products within this industry and to ensure that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> are able to continue to support our customers, regardless of the environment in which they are operating, Sean Ball, the Global Applications Specialist at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a>, participated on a combined Basic Offshore Safety Induction &amp; Emergency Training (BOSIET) and Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) course. The course is approved by the OPITO educational and training organisation in the oil and gas sector. The course briefly consists of the following areas:<\/p><ul><li>Safety Induction<\/li><li>Sea Survival<\/li><li>Firefighting &amp; Self Rescue<\/li><li>Major Accident Workplace Hazards<\/li><li>Personal Safety<\/li><li>Risk Management<\/li><li>Helicopter Safety. The course also includes the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).<\/li><\/ul><p><br \/>Sean Ball has undertaken and completed a United Kingdom Oil &amp; Gas (UKOG) medical \/ United Kingdom Out of Area (UKOOA) medical prior to starting the 5-day training course as it is a mandatory requirement. It is also a requirement for all personnel working offshore. Recertified in October 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> is proud to have an OPITO approved BOSIET, MIST and UKOG certified field service technician capable of supporting our customers in the installation, set-up, maintenance, service, recalibration and training of PAMAS instruments in the diverse and environmentally challenging sector that is the offshore Oil &amp; Gas industry worldwide. This valuable asset not only ensures that the particle counters remain with our customers so there is no loss of equipment that would occur in relation to shipping them back to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> and also the incurred costs via customs clearance, courier charges etc. but creates a strong argument as to why many Companies within the Oil &amp; Gas industry should opt to change their existing particle measuring devices to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pamas.de\/\">PAMAS<\/a> particle counters.<\/p><p>Our existing customers in Ghana have already utilised this option on an annual basis, since 2016, having their instruments recalibrated off the coast of Takoradi.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PAMAS UK Office, specialises in the Oil &amp; Gas sector, providing support to customers and distributors worldwide to ensure that PAMAS instruments remain in a serviceable working condition allowing our customers to continue with their operational requirements, irrespective of location.
